Stella Henri MVEye Interview Transcript

A woman owned, a woman-founded luxury jewelry business started in 2022 and really committed to using ethical practices and lab created diamonds in the jewelry we create. So that has become the cornerstone of the business is ensuring that any pieces we’re creating are only using lab grown diamonds or gemstones. And I think that’s really a reflection of my heart and what’s most joyful for me in the pieces of jewelry that I’m putting out into the world.

I’m the founder of this business and every single piece of jewelry, the website, the content that’s being created, everything is really a reflection of me and what’s important to me. I’m the only me that is around.

The bespoke process is so joyful.  I love connecting individually with someone and really understanding what excites them and interests them and creating something together in a partnership that is really going to bring someone joy.

As a mom, as a working mom, and as someone who’s very physically active, putting on taking off my jewelry, having the kids tugging at it, and just always being kind of concerned about the quality or durability of the jewelry as I’m going about my day, was something that really brought this idea to me.  And so now I’m really working to create a line of pieces that flex and move with you whether you’re in Pilates or you’re getting your children out of the door to school, or you are just busy working and you don’t have time to take things off. So, putting a lot of time and attention on the quality and durability of the pieces and also the comfort. I want someone to be able to fall asleep in a tennis necklace and not even know that it’s there and be able to jump right into their workout the next morning.

I am obsessed with history. I love art history. I love architecture.

I have a new line coming out that will be geared towards a younger audience, more focused on a lower entry point so that the jewelry is more accessible, and I think can be a little bit more fun and fashion forward. On top of that, I have a lot of partnerships in the works, and I think that has been a really fun part is just collaborating, working on a men’s line and some other exciting things that I have up my sleeve.

I am lucky enough to be part of a paradigm shift in the industry.  I do not think lab created jewelry. so not just the diamonds, but any gemstones or colored diamonds. I don’t think it’s going anywhere. I think that the focus on environmental and ethical impact in the jewelry that people want to buy, is a trend that will not change and if anything will continue to gain speed and pick up pace.
